US senator meets with wrongfully deported Salvadoran migrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia US Senator Chris Van Hollen said Thursday he had been able to meet with 29-year-old Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran man wrongfully deported by the administration of US President Donald Trump. Van Hollen had earlier been refused access to the notorious maximum-security prison where Abrego Garcia is being held.
