US judge blocks deportation of Georgetown scholar accused of Hamas ties Virginia District Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles ordered that Georgetown University scholar Badar Khan Suri, who is of Indian origin, could not be deported for allegedly "spreading Hamas propaganda" until a new court ruling is issued.
