Two Los Angeles wildfires rage on as residents start to sift through wreckage Two massive wildfires in Los Angeles remained totally uncontained for a third day on Thursday, authorities said, as residents started to sift through the charred remains of their homes. The fires have killed five people, devastated whole neighbourhoods and displaced thousands. Fire growth remains likely, the National Weather Service said, with ongoing and new fires to be expected throughout Thursday and into Friday.
