Mexico, the latest Latin American country to break down barriers to abortion access Mexico’s Supreme Court has ordered that abortion be removed from the federal penal code. The court found that national laws prohibiting the procedure are unconstitutional and violate women’s rights. The ruling will require the federal public health service to offer abortion to anyone who requests it. The decison continues a regional trend. FRANCE 24's Antonia Kerrigan tells us more.
