Jeju Air crash black box to be sent to US for analysis, South Korea says A damaged flight data recorder retrieved from the site of a Jeju Air crash in South Korea will be sent to the US for analysis since the data was unrecoverable domestically, South Korea’s civil aviation ministry said Wednesday. The Boeing 737-800 crash killed 179 people in the worst aviation disaster on South Korean soil.
