Harvard sets up $100 million fund to tackle its historic ties to slavery According to an email sent by Harvard University's president to all students, faculty and staff on Tuesday, the Ivy-league university is establishing a $100 million endowment fund and other measures in an effort to close the country's educational, social and economic gaps, which are legacies of slavery and racism.
