Forever chemicals: Evidence mounts of growing health scandal So-called forever chemicals are everywhere: in rivers, tap water, in our food and even in the hair of French MPs. Tests conducted on 14 French Green lawmakers have revealed the presence of toxic polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), some of which are banned in France.
